Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect the account information needed to operate Simpl, including your email address, username, preferences, and the workout notes you create. Operational records may include session, sync, and security information required to keep your account available and protected.

Workout and Health data

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Simpl reads only completed workout summaries and the limited metrics described before permission is requested. Simpl does not read workout routes, heart-rate samples, or detailed biometric samples, and does not write data to Apple Health.

AI connections

AI platform connections are optional. A connected platform may access only the categories and date ranges you authorize. Apple Health summaries require separate permission. AI platforms may send proposed workout plans to Simpl, but those plans remain drafts until you approve them.

Sharing

Your notes are not public by default. Simpl shares information only when you create a share link, grant access to an accepted friend, or connect an AI platform. Friend access is read-only and excludes private account and Health information.

Retention and deletion

Deleted notes remain recoverable for 30 days before permanent removal. You can disconnect Apple Health, revoke AI access, delete imported workout summaries, or request deletion of your Simpl account from the app.
